Having visited the Apostle Island Lakeshore many times through the years Pam Hockemeyer became a year-round resident in 2021. She is a retired registered nurse with a Masters Degree in Health Administration. Taking a 10-year sabbatical midway through her nursing career she established and operated a retail business. The mercantile featured fabric, quilting notions and books and offered a variety of quilt making classes.
Being on various community boards including the Chamber of Commerce is part of the experience Pam can bring to CORE. She has participated in many of the senior activity programs that CORE offers and is a proud weekly “box packer” volunteer at the food pantry.
Pam enjoys gardening, photography, hiking, playing mahjong weekly, all the four seasons in the Northwoods and anytime family comes to visit!
