Mary is a mother of five, a community organizer, a photographer, a cookbook author, former restaurant owner, a big fan of dogs, and a passionate believer in the power of collective storytelling. She believes asking ‘tell me more’, as opposed to declaring ‘let me tell you something’ is the cornerstone required to build and sustain equitable, thriving communities. As CORE’s Executive Director, she’s interested in exploring what role nonprofits can play in creating connections and providing support that is grounded in respect, collaboration, and open-hearted curiosity. She lives in Bayfield with her husband Ted and their three marginally behaved pups — Aldo, Otis, and Stella.
