Dave retired as President and CEO of Superior Savings Bank in August of 2016.  He currently serves as Board Chair and Senior Vice President at the bank, continuing his affiliation which began in March of 1973.

He lives with his wife, Janice in Poplar and they own a second home in Bayfield.  They have four grown children, all of whom live in Douglas County.  Their family sailboat was docked in Bayfield for over 20 years and during that period of time, they developed a number of friendships with local residents and business owners.

During his years in the business community, Dave served on the boards of the Superior Business Center, Tower Avenue Inc., Superior – Douglas County YMCA, Coalition for the Advancement of Fair Housing, On-Line Financial Services, Inc. (a bank data center in Oakbrook, IL), Northwood Technical College (WITC) Foundation – Superior Regional Board and the WITC Accounting Advisory Board.

Dave is also involved with the Mission Covenant Church in Poplar, where he serves with the music ministry and on the Missions Board.
