- Annie Bowker, Washburn
- Annie serves the Washburn area as a Community Liaison.
- Annie states, "I have attended CORE events for a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed each of them. A lot of thought goes into the planning and delivery. The opportunity to volunteer through CORE to help seniors stay in their homes and communities is such a great gift. CORE is actively expanding out beyond Bayfield. I have been given the position of Washburn's liaison and have been reaching out to the people in that community. I hope to be a part of bringing more CORE activities to Washburn. It is very fulfilling for me to have this opportunity to give back to my community."
Gina Emily, Cornucopia
Gina serves the Cornucopia area as a Community Liaison.
Gina states "It has been a privilege to be the CORE Community Liaison for Cornucopia. CORE brings people together in a healthy, positive way. The organization provides information and action via classes, social events, literature and community fairs.
It warms my mind, heart and soul to be a part of CORE. I enjoy being part of efforts to help those over age 55 stay independent.
Thank you, and keep up the wonderful work!"
Jacki Rae-Ladin, Washburn
Jacki serves in the Washburn area as a Community Liaison.
A little about Jacki - in her own words:
"Having worked for over 30 years with Project Head Start serving our youngest community members, I am excited to switch gears and work with the other end of the spectrum, our senior population. The CORE events I have participated in have been extremely well organized and I am happy to add my energy as a liaison to help discover what programming would best serve the Washburn area seniors, then help bring the programs to the community. I have great respect for CORE's mission and the wonderful folks who have made this a reality in our area. I am honored to become part of this organization."
